Chairman represents private sector public health service providers at a regional conference in Tehran, where delegates from Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan participated to deliberate upon the efficacy of NSP (Needle & Syringe Program) and OST (Oral Substitution Therapy) and work out some appropriate techniques of managing the patients of drug use (injecting drug users) and those living with HIV. The one-week consultations concluded in adopting modern techniques of patients’ management with supporting legislative reforms and awareness campaigns in this regard.
