Dr Zafar Qadir – Chairman TFHI called on Dr Parveen Azam Khan – the Chairperson of Dost Foundation at Peshawar; and had a round of the state of the art facilities managed by the Foundation. Dost Foundation is a family trust of Mr. Azam Khan (PAS – former Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and his wife – Dr Parveen Azam Khan, who herself is a renowned public health professional and has devoted herself to this noble cause. The trust has established 500-bed facilities for the rehabilitation of street children in Peshawar. The two philanthropic organizations joined hands to complement and supplement each other for all interventions of mutual interest. May this partnership deliver best community services to the neglected segment of our society – the drug users and street children.
