A senior management team of UNAIDS visited the regional office of TFHI at Quetta and had a detailed meeting with Mr. Kamal Hassan Siddiqui – the Finance Director of Taaleem Foundation and Regional Director of TFHI. The meeting primarily focused on the assessment of TFHI with respect to its capacity to undertake serious and sensitive projects of primary healthcare and public health, including those relating to injecting drug users and PLHIV (People Living with HIV). The hour-long meeting went very successful and the team of UNAIDS recommended TFHI for taking up the projects with the Global Fund, Geneva.
