TFHI has independently managed two Global Fund-financed projects of HIV/AIDS in Balochistan and AJK as an SSR of the fund. Both were steered by the Provincial AIDS Control Programs of Balochistan and Punjab respectively, under the overall supervision of National AIDS Control Program in the Ministry of Health, Government of Pakistan.
TFHI is working on providing “School Health Services” to the students at Taaleem Foundation Grammar School System in Balochistan ever since its inception in 1991. On the parallel, TFHI is regularly providing public health-related content through Taaleem Foundation’s e-Learning platform via video-streaming.
Besides, TFHI had also established first ever e-Clinic of Pakistan at Quetta, Balochistan during 2016.

TeleHealth connecting remote clinics for Maternal & Child Health-Punjab
Purpose: To establish a virtual telecare network between 5 Basic Health Units of rural Punjab province, which were effected due to terrorist attacks and sectarian violence, with Rural Health center through use of Remote patient analysis and live video assessment using bio medical sensors..

COVID -19 – Home Isolation Teleconsulting service
In collaboration with Health Department, Govt of Sindh -Educast established Pakistan’s largest Covid 19 home isolation telehealth advisory and consulting platform, with 450 eDoctors from 14 countries and all provinces of Pakistan, these eDoctors were trained and certified by Stanford University’s Center of Medicine as Covid 19 care providers. This was social enterprise project of EDUCAST Group, as it volunteered to establish and provide services right from start of Covid 19 cases in Pakistan in March 2020.

Recent Collaborations
Taaleem Foundation / TFHI have signed an MOU with the Health Department, Government of Balochistan to provide training to paramedics in the province. TFHI is planning to establish “School of paramedics” on the side lines of all its TF Grammar Schools, and shall train the allied health professionals on campus as well as online, using the teaching faculty of Islamic International Hospital of Riphah International University, Islamabad. Government of Balochistan has authorized TFHI to use all district headquarters hospitals as teaching hospitals for the purpose of this training.
Taaleem Foundation / TFHI have signed MOUs with “Health & Hygiene Private Limited” (UK) and “Infection Prevention and Control” (IPAC) Foundation of Pakistan for generating awareness material, both in textual and visual forms to disseminate through e-School services of Taaleem Foundation, using e-Learning platform all across the country.
TFHI is also engaged with a number of stakeholders on strengthening the “School Health Services”, initially for the student body of Taaleem Foundation Grammar School System in Balochistan; and the up-scaling across Pakistan in a gradual manner. The interventions in SHS would include primary health-care, personal hygiene and nutrition; along with adequate awareness related to all these areas.
