TFHI is headquartered in Islamabad, with its regional offices in the provinces and federating units.
Under the overall guidance of its parent body – Taaleem Foundation – the TFHI management combines visionary management, public health professionalism and financial expertise. Networking and institutional collaboration is a strong area of TFHI.
TFHI works on the model of collaborative partnership, supplementing and complementing the efforts within the network of partner organizations having similarity of thought and preferences. TFHI, in a short span of time, has been able to develop its institutional linkages across the country; and is emerging as a major player in public health related initiatives in the country.
Dr Zafar Qadir – the Chairman of Taaleem Foundation Board is the ex-officio Chairman of TF Health Initiative. He is a development sector professional, having PhD in Development Studies. He specializes in integrated rural development, public private partnership, institution-building, business process automation, innovative technologies and social sector reforms, including governance, poverty, livelihood, education, training, skills, gender and public health.
TFHI is headed by Dr. Mubashir Mushtaq Daha – the CEO – who is a renowned public health professional, and a qualified dermatologist, known for her skill-mix of competence, dedication, commitment, creativity, initiative, drive, passion and humanitarianism in the health sector. He also practices dermatology clinic in Islamabad as one of his passions. He is currently working at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad.
The regional offices are managed by the CEOs of respective partner organizations, in close coordination with the TFHI Head Office.
